SOLARIS Language School REFERENCES
„We started our cooperation with SOLARIS Language School in early 2019 having been organizing Czech courses for our foreign employees. Solaris always swiftly strive to find solution for our rapidly changing needs. Everything went smoothly even at the moment of „switching“ classes from the attendance into online mode virtually on the morrow. Our students praise the lectors for their experience, patience and creative approach to teaching.“
"Marie is an excellent teacher and easy-going person. She always tries to do her best to make lessons interesting and useful. She gives additional information and always answers our questions."
"Lenka is an energetic person with a great sense of humour. She always knows all the idiomatic and colloquial expressions which make lessons fun."
"Thanks to her experience, patience , skills and methods, Vlasta easily holds our attention. Her interpretention is clear and understandable. Without her way of explaining, presenting and excellent knowledge of IT(!), I would not have been able to learn so much. Moreover, as a non-Slavic student, I consider Czech to be a really difficult and demanding language."
"My teacher was excellent, very easy-going and with very good attitude and respect to the learning process. I like his cheerful approach to teaching."
"The lessons with Valentin were humorous and funny. He is friendly and professional."
"Jakub is the best! I got what I expected. Didn´t know much Czech but now I can talk and understand, wow!"
"Vendula is smiling, not boring, helpful. Great teacher!"
"Valentin is a good teacher with strong communication skills and language level. Helpful and polite."
"Jakub is a very positive and clever guy. Could explain everything. Very nice."
Very satisfied with the teacher. Very open and friendly, the classes are interesting and fun, never boring. The teacher explains everything in a clear way, the lessons are well paced."

"After the course with Vendula I understand native speakers and can express my mind."
"Our teacher Lenka is a nice person. In addition to Czech she also shared with us the practical aspects of life in the Czech Republic."
"I really liked our lessons with Jakub and always waited for Mondays and Wednesdays when we had our classes. He is always friendly."
"I can wholeheartedly recommend this language school! I've been taking lessons from Karolina, one of the teachers of SOLARIS, for almost two years now, both in person and via Skype. I was initially worried about learning Czech given its difficulty, but it turned out to be a really fun process, and by now I feel comfortable reading basic texts, having simpler conversations with native speakers, and watching movies in Czech with subtitles. Karolina made sure to personalise the learning for my needs and interests: which topics to talk about, which types of exercises to have, and even what kinds of movies/articles to recommend! She is incredibly patient, very good at explanations of both grammar and everyday language use, and a very kind and friendly person in general. I get plenty of materials, we have great conversations that make me motivated to learn - and the lesson is always a highlight of my week! I sincerely hope many students will have the chance to study at SOLARIS! :)"
"I’ve been studying with Karolina (one of the teachers from SOLARIS Language School) in Prague for 3 years now and I’m fully satisfied of our collaboration. I was looking for something more flexible and adaptable than a collective course. With Karolina, I can linger on some aspects of the Czech language that I find difficult to master and move on with things I understand more easily. She proposed me two different manuals so far that were perfectly adapted to my needs and provided me with extra documents when it was necessary. We typically begin a 90 minute class with one hour of conversation, an exercise that I find very formative and that is impossible to get in a class with other students. During that conversation, Karolina always tries to make the discussion interesting (including with fun observation about Czech society), while addressing different points of grammar or some specific vocabulary. Then we move on to exercises or grammar. She understands the challenge for a foreigner to learn the Czech language and always tries to make comparisons with English (or Spanish), and don’t hesitate to repeat the basics (a core principle of pedagogy , if you ask me). She’s patient and professional, flexible when it comes to have class in a café in Prague or through Skype, always punctual, very polite and well-educated. I hope I will be fluent in Czech one day (as much as it is possible…) and if I don’t, it will certainly not be Karolina’s fault! :)"
