As we move through the displays, we follow the course of the river.<br \/>Right at the entrance, we are captivated by an exhibit linked to a symbolic gesture \u2014 a vase representing the source of the Vltava, made by the renowned Czech glass company Lasvit.<br \/>Before the exhibition opened, real water was collected from the Vltava\u2019s spring and passed from person to person, each carrying it along or on the river in different ways until it reached Prague Castle.<br \/>There, the First Lady ceremonially poured the spring water into the vase, officially inaugurating the exhibition.<\/p><p>We now find ourselves in the \u0160umava region, celebrated by many Czech artists such as Josef Ma\u0159\u00e1k and Josef V\u00e1chal, as well as in literature.<br \/>Next, we sail past the Vy\u0161\u0161\u00ed Brod Monastery, founded by the Cistercian monks on the Vltava\u2019s bank in the 13th century, and admiring the region\u2019s beauty \u2014 from cliffs and forests to mills and even industrial sites such as a cement plant painted by the Czech cubist <a title=\"Bohumil Kubi\u0161ta was a leading representative of Czech Cubism.\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Bohumil_Kubi%C5%A1ta\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Bohumil Kubi\u0161ta<\/a>.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Jakub Schikaneder<\/a>.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Equally valuable are works that document historical reality: Prague districts before their demolition, such as Podskal\u00ed, or the construction of bridges that gradually shaped the city\u2019s landscape. It\u2019s also a chance to test yourself \u2014 how well do you actually know Prague?<br \/>As we move further through the exhibition, the focus shifts from the river\u2019s physical form to its symbolic power.
