The Czech B1 Course Online is intended for pre-intermediate students who would like to significantly expand their language skills and start the journey to master B1 level. You are expected to have already become familiar with the basics of grammar and to know frequently used Czech expressions. Now you have the opportunity to acquire correct declension and noticeably expand your vocabulary.

In the Czech B1 Course Online you will fully master the use of personal pronouns and also prepare to handle various everyday situations, get acquainted with new conversational topics such as countries, nationalities, languages, getting to know each other, family relationships, communication in restaurants, housing, looking for an apartment, travel, orientation, work, holidays, celebrations, wishes and congratulations, shopping etc. During one semester, you should go through seven of the twenty lessons of the Česky krok za krokem 2 textbook.

When determining the appropriate level of knowledge, we base it on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages – CEFR. When considering the Czech B1 Course Online you may find useful the Self-Assessment Grid related to knowledge of Czech, which can be downloaded for the relevant languages from the Council of Europe website. The Czech B1 Course Online is the first of three steps to achieve the B1 language level.

HOW DOES AN ONLINE COURSE WORK?

Throughout the lesson, students are in contact with the lecturer via a web camera. All you need is an internet connection and a smartphone, tablet or computer. You do not need to install anything, just click on the link and join the lesson.

COURSE RULES

1. We reserve the right to cancel a course due to non-fulfilment of the minimum course capacity (minimum number is 3, for some courses 4 students). In this case, we will inform you of this fact no later than 3 working days before the start of the course and we are obliged to offer you an alternative solution: the possibility to attend another course, transfer the course fee to individual tuition or refund the course fee. In this case, the course fee is refundable in full.
2. After the expiry of the 14day period during which we guarantee a refund under Article 9.1 of the Terms and Conditions, you will no longer be entitled to a refund of the course fee in the event of obstacles on your part that prevent you from attending the course.
3. We reserve the right to postpone the start and end of the course by 1 week if this is unavoidable for technical reasons.
4. In the event that it is not possible to provide lessons for serious reasons, we are entitled to choose an alternative way of providing teaching. You will be notified of this fact in advance.
5. We reserve the right to refuse or additionally exclude from the course a student who violates the basic principles of civil coexistence.
